Urgent and After-Hours Care

How do I access after-hours care?

Often, we can’t always predict when we need medical care.

For this reason, Riverside Court Medical Clinic offers after-hours urgent care appointments for registered patients. This is preferred over a walk-in clinic as you will receive a scheduled appointment, and a detailed report and all test results will be sent to your family doctor within our family practice.

Monday-Thursday evening urgent care

  • Hours of operation: 5pm-8pm

Saturday urgent care

  • Hours of operation: 9am-1pm

Note: please call your family doctor to book your urgent care appointment. These appointments are not available online.

Are there other resources I can call in a pinch?

Health811 is a free, confidential service in Ontario that provides 24/7 access to health advice and information. Patients can connect with a registered nurse over the phone by dialing 811, or access resources online. Nurses can assess symptoms, answer health-related questions, and guide patients to appropriate care or local services if needed. This service is particularly useful for non-emergency situations, offering reassurance and helping individuals make informed decisions about their health. For more details, visit the Health811 website or call 811.
