  • Dr. Fawzi Mankal MD CCFP FCFP

    DOCTOR

    Dr. Fawzi Mankal was born in a small village in the beautiful mountains of Lebanon. He immigrated to Canada at the age of 2 and grew up in the capital region. He completed a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s Degree in Neuroscience at the University of Ottawa before completing his medical training and family medicine residency at the University of Ottawa Medical School in 2002. Dr. Fawzi Mankal spent 4 years in rural practice in Winchester before joining Riverside Court Medical Clinic. His main interests are preventative care, family medicine and downhill skiing with his 3 beautiful kids

  • Dr. Oliver Nguan

    DOCTOR

    Dr Oliver Nguan was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia, attending Dalhousie University for Medicine and Saint Mary’s University for his MBA. He completed his residency training at the University of Ottawa and is a Lecturer at the U of O Department of Family Medicine.  Dr. Oliver Nguan has been practicing with the esteemed group of Family Physicians at Riverside Court since 2003.

  • Dr. Julie-Anne Wrobleski

    DOCTOR

    Dr. Julie-Anne Wrobleski was born and raised in Sydney, Nova Scotia. She completed her medical degree at the University of Ottawa in 2018, and then completed her residency training at McMaster University. In 2020, she returned to Ottawa and worked in several family practices, as a hospitalist in Brockville, and as a surgical assistant. In the fall of 2021, she joined Riverside Court Medical Clinic and is proud to be part of a friendly team of dedicated and hard-working physicians and staff.

  • Dr. Lisa Moore

    DOCTOR

    Dr Moore graduated from McMaster Medical School in 1989 and completed her residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa. She spent the first 11 years of her career at OttawaU as an academic family physician involved in teaching, research, administration and clinical practice. Dr Moore has a particular interest in primary healthcare, continuing medical education and training residents in family medicine. She is one of the founding physicians of Riverside Court Medical Clinic, and was instrumental in forming the Rideau Family Health Team. In her spare time, she can be found on the hockey rink, golf course, or ski hills!

  • Dr. Katelyn Perkins MD CCFP

    DOCTOR

    Dr. Katelyn Perkins grew up in Ottawa.  She always wanted to be a family doctor and is very happy to be practicing medicine and raising her own family here. Dr. Katelyn Perkins completed her bachelor’s degree in 2008 on a running scholarship from the University of West Georgia and worked for a couple of years in Atlanta, Georgia at the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Centre. She then completed her medical degree in 2014 at the University of Western Ontario in London and Family Residency training at the University of Ottawa in 2016. In the year after completing residency, Dr. Katelyn Perkins has worked in clinics around the city and in the Almonte Hospital Emergency Department. In her free time, Dr. Katelyn Perkins continues to run with her dog, Georgia, and spend time outdoors with her family.

  • Dr. Kathleen McGregor

    DOCTOR

    Dr. Kathleen McGregor completed her medical degree at McMaster University in 2018, and then completed her residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa. Since 2020, she has been working as a locum at several family practices. She then joined Riverside Court Medical Clinic full-time in late 2022. She enjoys the diversity of family medicine, and the ability to care for patients of all ages.

  • Dr. Sanjna John

    DOCTOR

    Dr. Sanjna John attended the School of Medicine at Queen’s University and received her Doctor of Medicine degree in 2012. She attended the Family Medicine Residency Program at the University of Ottawa, graduating in 2014 and went on to complete the Enhanced Skills Program in Care of the Elderly in 2015. Dr. Sanjna John's areas of interest include preventive care and geriatric medicine.

  • Dr. Vanessa Murley (BScH, MS, MD)

    DOCTOR

    Dr. Vanessa Murley was born in St. John’s NFLD and was raised partly as a Newfie and partly in Ottawa. She completed her undergraduate (‘95) and graduate (‘98) degrees in Science at Queen’s University and Medical School at the University of Ottawa (‘01). She completed her training in Family Medicine at St. Paul’s Hospital, University of British Columbia, Vancouver BC (‘03). She is an assistant professor at the University of Ottawa. She enjoys providing full service Family Medicine with the team at RCMC and she delivers babies at the Ottawa Hospital, General Site.

  • Dr. Jessica Strike

    DOCTOR

    Dr Jessica Strike was born in Ottawa, and raised in North Gower, Ontario.  She did her BSc in Biology (Freshwater Ecology) at the University of Ottawa.  She then went on to study Medicine at the University of Ottawa (2006) and completed her Family Medicine Residency (2008)  in Ottawa as well.  She enjoys providing full service Family Medicine with the team at RCMC and she delivers babies at the Ottawa Hospital, General Site. In her spare time she loves spending time with family and friends, as well as knitting and other crafts.

  • Allie Bingham (MCP, RP, CCC)

    MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST

    Allie Bingham is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered , Psychotherapists of Ontario. She completed her undergraduate degree at Queen’s University in Psychology and Gender Studies (2012), and completed her Masters of Counselling Psychology at Adler University in Vancouver (2014). Allie worked in community and hospital-based mental health services in Southern Ontario, before returning to her hometown of Ottawa to work for the Rideau Family Health Team in 2020. Allie uses a blend of cognitive-behavioural, attachment, and compassion-focused therapies when she works with both teenagers and adults.

  • Jackie Thauvette (RD)

    DIETITCIAN

    Jackie Thauvette is a Registered Dietitian (RD) with the Ontario College of Dietitians. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Applied Human Nutrition from the University of Guelph (2007) and completed her internship with the Ottawa Hospital (2008). Jackie has been working with the Rideau Family Health Team since 2009, where she enjoys helping clients of all ages to meet their health and nutrition related goals. Jackie’s approach blends evidence-based nutrition science and mindful eating principles to support individuals in creating meaningful and lasting change.

  • Sam Tavakoli

    PHARMACIST


    Sam Tavakoli is a clinical pharmacist and has been working for the Rideau Family Health Team since 2016. He grew up in Saskatchewan, attended the University of British Columbia for pre-pharmacy and obtained his pharmacy degree at the University of Toronto. He is also a community pharmacist at the pharmacy next door. His roles include medication management, de-prescribing, smoking cessation, chronic pain management and evidence-based drug-information consults.

  • NP Veronica Ha

    NURSE PRACTITIONER

    Veronica Ha is a Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Ottawa in 2011. She also completed her Master of Science in Nursing with Diploma in Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner from University of Ottawa in 2016. She has been working as an urgent care NP at the Rideau Family Health Team since 2018.

  • Lily McKeen (RN)

    RESOURCE MANAGER

    Lily McKeen is a registered nurse and the resource manager at the Rideau Family Health Team since 2008.  She grew up in Ottawa and completed her nursing degree at the University of Ottawa. 

    Her work experience includes long-term care, community-care settings and hospitals in Ottawa and Montreal.  The core of her work as the resource manager is system navigation and largely navigating complex referrals. She enjoys working closely with our team of family physicians and their patients; 

    to understand their health and community care needs, helping them seek appropriate resources and facilitating access to services and programs in Ottawa. Lily has a special interest in senior wellness and completes memory cognitive assessments for referred patients at our clinics.

  • Kylie D'Angiulli (MSW, RSW)

    MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST

    Kylie D'Angiulli (she/her) is a Registered Social Worker. She completed her Master of Social Work (2020) at Carleton University in their structural social work program. She aims to integrate social justice into her practice and has experience in social policy and clinical social work. Kylie joined the Rideau Family Health Team in 2021 and feels privileged to be part of a dedicated interprofessional and multidisciplinary team. She draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) with emphasis on compassion-focused approaches when collaborating with clients.

  • Dani Vigneault (RN)

    NURSE CLINICIAN

    Dani Vigneault is a registered nurse and holds the role of nurse clinician at the Rideau Family Health Team. She grew up in Barrie, ON and moved to Ottawa in 2015 to complete her studies. Dani’s work experience has been primarily with geriatric and mental health nursing as well as laboratory teaching for nursing students. Dani is passionate about providing holistic and accessible care, especially for vulnerable populations. Having been with the clinic since February 2022, Dani is proud to work with such an innovative and collaborative team with the shared goal of providing patient and family centered care.

  • NP Ann Miller

    NURSE PRACTITIONER

    Ann Miller has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for 24 years. She discovered her passion for diabetes as a student and hasn't looked back. She spent three years in an academic diabetes and endocrinology centre in NY and brought her knowledge and experience north to Ottawa in 2009. She has been working at the Rideau FHT since then. She is also a Certified Diabetes Educator. She is raising a Canadian Guide Dog for the Blind, Sonic, who frequently accompanies her when working in the Annex.

  • Maude Pressault, RD

    EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Maude is the new Executive Director for the Rideau Family Health Team. She brings a background in Long-Term Care management and holds a Bachelor's degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Ottawa.

    Maude began her career as a Registered Dietitian in a long-term care home and eventually transitioned into the role of Executive Director. Now, she is thrilled to return to her "first love": primary care. She strongly believes that primary care is essential to an efficient health care system, serving as the "alarm bells and preventative agents" for the health of individuals and families.

    Maude considers herself fortunate to work alongside a strong and passionate team. She is committed to leading with vision and enthusiasm to ensure efficient and compassionate care for patients in a welcoming and friendly environment.

    An avid reader and passionate scuba diver, Maude enjoys spending time outdoors with her furry companion, Moka.

  • NP Rifat Khimani

    NURSE PRACTITIONER


    Rifat (she/her) is a primary care nurse practitioner, having completed her Master in Nursing (Primary Care/Global Health) from the University of Toronto and her Bachelor's in science in Nursing at Toronto Metropolitan University. Her nursing experience has spanned primary care, public health, critical care, emergency, and perioperative care. She is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health at the University of Ottawa, with a concentration in public health practice and the addition of French language learning. Rifat is passionate about community based primary care, health promotion, and disease prevention, particularly for migrant/newcomer populations. She loves running, reading, making art, and spending time in nature.
